A 30th-round Draft pick out of Southern Illinois University in 2010, Bradley compiled a 4.31 ERA in 28 games in his first full-season action at Class A Augusta in 2011. This season he ranks third among Cal League starters in ERA (1.57), having gone at least six innings in three of six outings. Only Bakersfield’s Tony Cingrani (0.32) and fellow San Jose Giant Jack Snodgrass (1.23) have lower earned run averages.
Bradley is also the first San Jose Giant to receive Player of the Week honors in 2012.

Former Gold Glove Award-winning Major League Baseball outfielder Jose Cruz, Jr. has joined ESPN as an MLB analyst and will make his debut on Baseball Tonight on May 16. In addition to appearing on Baseball Tonight throughout the season, Cruz will also contribute to Beisbol Esta Noche on ESPN Deportes.
“I’m excited to join ESPN’s impressive roster of MLB commentators,” said Cruz. “I accumulated a wealth of knowledge and perspective during my playing career and I’m eager to share those insights on Baseball Tonight.”
Cruz played 12 MLB seasons, winning the Rawlings Gold Glove Award in 2003 as a member of the San Francisco Giants. The switch-hitting Cruz made his Major League debut with the Seattle Mariners in 1997 and retired after a stint with the Houston Astros in 2008.
Jose is a member of Puerto Rico’s famous Cruz baseball family. His father – also Jose Cruz – was a two-time All-Star for the Houston Astros. Cruz’s uncles Hector and Tommy also played in the big leagues.
